GALWAY COUNCILLORS SUPPORT WINDING UP OF PDS

All four Galway city and county Progressive Democrat members say they supported the motion for the winding up of the PD party.
Speaking to GBFM news, City Councillors Donal Lyons and Declan McDonnell, and County Councillors Michael Maher and Jim Cuddy say they were fully in support of the vote to dissolve the party at Saturday night’s conference in Mullingar.
Asked whether they had made a decision on their political future, city councillors Donal Lyons and Declan McDonnell said they would be making a joint announcement in the coming days.
Loughrea Councillor Michael Maher and Oranmore councillor Jim Cuddy say they will be taking their time in making their decision.
Meanwhile, Leader of the Progressive Democrats and Galway man Ciaran Cannon say’s that he has not yet decided where his political future lies.
Senator Cannon says that he and Galway TD Noel Grealish will not be making any decisions on their political future until after christmas
