Galway could secure €850m investment through wind energy
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway has the potential to secure 850 million euro through it’s renewable wind energy production.
That’s according to the Irish Wind Energy Association which is to hold its Autumn conference in Salthill tomorrow (Oct 3).
Entitled ‘Building a sustainable energy future’, the event is to be attended by 300 delegates.
The conference takes place in the Galway Bay Hotel tomorrow and will include an address from Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources Pat Rabbitte.
Caitriona Diviney of the IWEA says Galway could be a national hub for Irish renewable energy.
