Galway could be set to get specialist garda sniffer dog unit

Galway could be set to get a new regional garda dog unit.

It comes as an estimated 700 thousand euro worth of drugs was seized in the county in 2018.

That’s according to the latest garda report which was presented at a meeting of the County Joint Policing Committee this week.
