GALWAY COMPANY COMPLETES MAJOR DEAL WITH MEDICAL MANUFACTURER

A Galway based medical technology company has completed a three-part deal with Merit Medical Systems.

Vysera Biomedical, based at Parkmore Business Park, will give Merit Medical access to certain intellectual property for valve technology.

Merit Medical is a leading manufacturer of disposable medical devices.

The deal means Merit can use valve technology developed by the Galway company in non-vascular stents.
