GALWAY COMMUTERS AVOID RAIL TRAVEL

Just one in five passengers on the Galway to Dublin line use the train to commute to and from work.

That’s according to a new report on Iarnrod Eireann’s intercity service which shows that passengers are opting to travel by road due to better journey times.

According to the Irish Independent, the study recommends investment on major routes including the Dublin to Galway line.
