GALWAY CITY RENTAL INCOME RISES

The average rent for a property in Galway city is just over a thousand euro [€1,008], up 6 point 6 percent on last year.

That’s according to the latest report issued by property website, DAFT dot ie.

Meanwhile, outside Galway city rents have increased by 1 point 6 percent in the twelve months to January 2008

Across the country rental incomes are levelling off, and this is thought to be due to the increased supply of properties in the last quarter of 2007.
