GALWAY CITY COUNCIL CALLS ON WEXFORD TD TO CONSIDER POSITION

Galway City Council has called on Independent Deputy Mick Wallace to consider his position.

It follows the passing of a motion raised by Cllr Billy Cameron last evening which stated that tax defrauders have no place in Dail Eireann.

11 Councillors voted in favour of the motion, while four absteined.

The Galway motion comes as the government is today expected to discuss the possibility of tabling of a motion of censure against the Wexford TD.
