GALWAY CITY COMPANY IN DEAL WITH US ARMY

Galway based Sim2Learn’s US partner Faros has signed a 10 million dollar contract with the US Army for the supply of simulators for driver training.

Under the deal Faros will provide several hundred Car and Motorcycle simulators to the US Army

Aidan Madden Managing Director of Sim2Learn says the simulators will assist with training for more than 50,000 drivers each year.

Sim2Learn partnered with Faros in 2006 and while it has its headquarters in Briarhill in Galway city it recently opened 7 new centres in Dublin, Sligo, Donegal, Cork, Waterford, Athlone and Limerick.
