GALWAY CHAMBER CALLS FOR YES VOTE IN REFERENDUM

Galway Chamber is calling for a YES vote in the upcoming EU fiscal treaty referendum.

The decision was made at a meeting with the Chambers Ireland network and An Taoiseach Enda Kenny at Government buildings this week.

It follows the launch of a "No" vote campaign yesterday by Abbeyknockmoy businessman Declan Ganley who says the European Stability Mechanism would not contain sufficient funds “to bail out everybody in Europe”.

However CEO of Galway Chamber, Michael Coyle says a YES vote means a vote for certainty.
