Galway Chamber calls for reduced rates in pre-budget submission

Galway Bay fm newsroom –  The government is being urged to support Galway’s retail sector ahead of this year’s budget.

A pre-budget submission from Galway Chamber of Commerce proposes supports such as a reduction in rates and reduced VAT.

The Chamber believe a series of relatively small changes to government policy could help to create local jobs and improve consumer confidence.

Michael Coyle, CEO of Galway Chamber, says Galway will pull through this period of austerity.
