GALWAY BUSINESSMAN DUE IN HIGH COURT TODAY OVER BANKRUPTCY PROTECTION

Galway business man John Sweeney will go to the High Court today in a bid to stop his business going into insolvency.

Blackshore holdings, which is owned by Sweeney, went into examinership almost two weeks ago.

The 49 year old from Bushypark is behind a number of high profile businesses, including the Marriott Court Hotel in the city, as well as the Station House Hotel in Clifden.
