Galway builder’s idea to drum up business

A GALWAY builder has come up with a novel idea to drum up business — homebuyers in his latest development have the opportunity to win a second property!

Buyers in the new estate in the village of Carrabane have a 1 in 24 chance of winning the three-bed semi-detached house.

The house will come fully furnished and the developer will also pay the Stamp Duty, making the prize worth in the region of €315,000.

In the latest effort by builders to generate interest in the slackening residential property market, Martin Roche of Roche Construction decided to put the house in Croí na Bhaile up as a prize.
