GALWAY BOGOWNERS REFUSE TO BACK DOWN ON CUTTING

Bogowners in parts of Galway are refusing to back down over the contentious issue of cutting turf on protected bogs.

A delegation from the National Parks and Wildlife Service and the Department of Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht met with East Galway bogowners in Portumna today. [8/12]
