One of Galway’s best known car body repairs shop has triumphed at the second annual Autotrader Bodyshop of the Year Awards.

Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs had already been named Connacht/Ulster Bodyshop of the Year – and on the night went on to win the Overall National Bodyshop of the Year Award.

Over 560 attended the Awards ceremony in the Ballroom at the Citywest Hotel and Frank Byrnes Autobody repairs were represented on the night by General Manager Sinead Healy and Workshop Manager Pat Delaney.

Founded in 2003 by Frank Byrnes, the business expanded and moved into their current premises in Oranmore in 2008 and the business has gone from strength to strength since, growing to its current work force of 21.

Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs is constantly changing to meet the needs of its customers, and what is a first for Ireland and not only Galway, they have launched a new body repair concept through the Overnight Body Repair Service.

This unique autobody repair service means that damage such as dents, car park tips and scrapes can be repaired while you sleep!

“Our new overnight body repair service is all about offering our customers a fast, convenient and economic option for those annoying dents and scrapes that happen, no matter how careful we are or how hard we try to avoid them,” said Frank.

Overnight Body Repairs at Frank Byrnes Autobody are carried out by specially trained technicians using a process developed for smaller repairs.

Using these latest innovative repair techniques we can avoid much of the additional work required for larger accident damage repair thus allowing us to repair the vehicle more efficiently and more economically without compromising on quality. We can then pass on the saving to our customers.

“This award is very important to our staff and gives great satisfaction that their hard work, dedication and quality is getting the recognition that it deserves,” added Frank.
