Galway Bay FM raises €175,000, and counting, in Radiothon

The Galway Bay FM Radiothon which ran throughout the day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday last raised over €175,000 for local charities.

Announcing that they had reached €175k on Saturday evening, Galway Bay FM’s Keith Finnegan said he was overwhelmed by the generosity of the people of Galway.

The funds were donated by individuals, groups and communities across the city and county over the three days.

Cancer Care West and Galway Hospice will benefit from the funds raised by the Radiothon
