GALWAY-BASED AIRLINE RULES OUT STOCK MARKET FLOTATION

Galway -based airline Aer Arann is NOT floating on the stock market.

The regional carrier has done an apparent u-turn and ruled out an imminent stock market listing.

The airline’s owner and executive Chairman Padraig O’Ceidigh had previously hinted at a stock market flotation and yesterday a newswire ran a story saying the listing could happen in the coming months.

However today’s Irish Independent is reporting that the Spiddal native said a listing was off the immediate agenda.
