GALWAY ATTITUDE TO FAIR TRADE UNDER THE SPOTLIGHT

Galway people’s attitude to working conditions on farms in the developing world is to come under scrutiny.

Galway city fairtrade committee is hitting the city streets from today, asking people to take part in a survey to examine knowledge and attitude to fair trade.

The committee will also host information days in Shop street next week, the 19th. and 20th. of August.

Galway has been a fair trade city since 2005 and many shops and businesses are already using fair trade products.
