Galway anti war activist re-arrested as he leaves Limerick court

Galway bay fm newsroom – Galway anti war activist  Niall Farrell has been re-arrested as he leaves a Limerick court for allegedly making a threat to Shannon Airport as he left court.

60 year old man Niall Farrell and 79 year old Margaretta D’Arcy have appeared before Limerick District Court after allegedly trespassing on the runway at Shannon Airport.

Margaretta D’Arcy of St Brigid’s Place, Wood Quay and Niall Farrell from Oranmore are both charged with interfering with the use of the airport by entering the runway without permission at 3.45pm yesterday.
