Galway anti-salmon cages group to protest in Dublin
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Groups opposed to a multimillion euro deep sea fish farm being set up close to Inis Oírr will picket in Dublin tomorrow morning.
Galway Bay Against Salmon Cages will join other fish protection groups from across the country to protest at Bord Iascaigh Mhara’s National Seafood Conference at the Aviva Stadium.
An application for the fish farm licence in Galway Bay is currently with the Marine Minister, Simon Coveney.
Chairperson of ‘No Salmon Farms At Sea’, Paddy Keenan says the Galway groups will be among those protesting in Dublin tomorrow.
