GALWAY AIRPORT PASSENGERS FACING FLIGHT DISRUPTIONS

Passengers to Galway airport are being advised to check their flights before they travel today, as an ash cloud has forced the closure of UK airspace.

The Carnmore airport is reporting that flights to and from London Luton and Manchester have been cancelled this morning.

Meanwhile, flights out of Dublin, Cork, Shannon and Belfast have also been cancelled.

Services to the Netherlands and Belgium have also been affected.

The situation isn’t expected to change until after 6 o’clock this evening.
