Galway 2020 Photo Competition – Winners to be announced on 1st October

The Galway 2020 ‘My Galway My Culture’ photo competition is now closed.

The winner of the top prize of a holiday in Croatia for two people will be announced at a special reception and to be held at The Connacht Tribune Print Works on Thursday 1st October at 5.00pm.

The competition has attracted over 450 entries from right across Galway and these can be viewed at www.ctrib2019.wpengine.com/2020photo/

A shortlist of the entries will be compiled by our expert judges Andrew Downes and Joe O’Shaughnessy and these will be announced in the Connacht Tribune and Galway City Tribune on 24th & 25th September.

All of the short-listed entrants will be invited to attend the reception where the winner will be announced.

Representatives of the Croatian Embassy and of Croatia Tours, which has generously supplied the top prize, will attend on the night.
