Galas the highlights at Comedy Festival

This year’s Galway Comedy Festival, renamed the Vodafone Comedy Carnival, will present a number of special Gala evenings in the iconic Spiegeltent, which will be located in South Park, beside the Claddagh Hall.

The Opening Gala on October 16 features Belfast comedian Colin Murphy, comic, actor and EasEnders star Terry Alderton, 30 Rock’s Judah Friedlander, Australian comic Benny Boot, Al Porter and 2FM’s Bernard O’Shea.

The Mid Festival Gala on Wednesday, October 22, features Andrew Maxwell, Glenn Wool, Paul Myrehaug, Grainne Maguire, Karl Spain, Phill Jupitus and a special guest.

And to round up the Festival’s twelve days and nights of comedy, the Closing Gala, on Monday, October 27, will see Rich Hall, The Rubberbandits, Foil Arms and Hog, Rob Delaney, Glenn Wool, Karl Spain and the amazing live duo, Abandoman.
