GAA SUBSTANTIALLY REDUCES PRICES FOR GALWAY SENIOR HURLING REPLAY
Date Published: 10-Sep-2012
Ticket prices have been reduced dramatically for the upcoming senior hurling final replay between Galway and Kilkenny on September 30th.
It follows this morning’s meeting between Croke Park officials and members of the Galway hurling board, who lobbied for a reduction in ticket prices.
The GAA has confirmed that stand tickets will now cost 50 euro – that’s down from 80, and Terrace tickets will cost 25 euro down from 40.
Up to 5 thousand childrens tickets will also go on sale for 10 euro.
Chairman of the Galway hurling Board Joe Byrne says a question mark still hangs over HOW tickets will be allocated.
