FUTURE OF UNUSED LOUGHREA NURSING HOME TO BE DECIDED

The future of the old unused buildings at St. Brendan’s Home in Loughrea will be decided at a meeting with the HSE and town councillors.

Part of the building is currently being redeveloped to create a new community nursing unit.

At this weeks meeting of Loughrea town council, councillors proposed that the usused part of the old building should be retained by the HSE west for continuing care purposes.
