FUTURE OF POBAL SITE IN CLIFDEN UNCERTAIN

There’s uncertainty that the decentralisation project planned for POBAL will go ahead in Clifden.

According to todays Irish Independent, Clifden is one of nineteen towns across the country that may suffer from last weeks Government decision to scale down the relocation plans.

Recent reports suggested that a permanent building for POBAL in Clifden would be completed in 2009, however according to todays Irish Independent a building has not been bought yet.
