Future of city park n ride scheme still uncertain
Galway bay fm newsroom – The future of the park n’ ride service from Galway Airport in Carnmore to the city centre is still uncertain.
The pilot scheme began in May and so far, the take-up for the service has been less than anticipated.
Apart from a few sporadic events, the service remains mostly unused by the travelling public.
However, the scheme will complete its 6-month pilot period before it’s reviewed.
Speaking on ‘Galway Talks’, CEO of Galway Chamber of Commerce, Michael Coyle said it’s hard to know if the park n’ ride service will survive
