FUTURE OF BROTHERS OF CHARITY BACK IN SPOTLIGHT

The future of Galway’s Brothers of Charity is back in the spotlight today.

The HSE is meeting with the organisation and parents to discuss the effect of spending cuts on patients in their care.

The Brothers of Charity’s 2010 budget is being slashed by €2.5m.

There are also proposals to close two community homes in Galway and cut respite services.
