FURTHER SAFETY TRIALS ON ROS A MHÍL PONTOON

Further safety trials will be carried out in Ros a Mhíl on the Aran Island passenger boat berthing pontoon that has been lying idle for a almost a year and a half.

The pontoons were supposed to have been in operation for the summer of 2009, but despite having cost over €9 million, the system is not yet in operation.
