FUNDING SOUGHT FOR TURLOUGHMORE PLAY COMPLEX

A major fundraising drive is underway to secure a new play complex for children from the Turloughmore, Lackagh and Claregalway areas.

A site has been donated by Turloughmore Hurling Club for a playground and the playground committee hopes to secure 75 percent of funding from Galway Rural Development.

However, it’s hoped families and businesses in the area will provide the remaining funding of about 40 thousand euro.
