Funding secured for Corrandulla Health Centre refurbishment

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Works are due to being in the coming weeks at Corrandulla Health Centre which will see the facility re-open by early Autumn.
At a recent meeting of the regional Health Forum West, HSE management said works could not proceed until the required funding of 35 thousand euro was secured from the HSE Estates Department.
The centre has been closed since June last year.
The HSE has now confirmed that funding for the works is available, and work is due to begin later this month.
Cathaoirleach of Galway County Council Mary Hoade, who raised the issue with the HSE, says the closure is a burden on people and it’s important the facility re-opens as soon as possible.
