Overcrowding warning at Emergency Department again

Galway Bay fm newsroom – University Hospital Galway has implemented the full capacity protocol in its emergency department this morning.
31 patients are currently awaiting admission to A&E.
Hospital management says that those attending the Emergency Department should expect significant delays.
The public is asked to attend the ED only in the case of real emergencies.
You should contact your GP or GP out of hours service in the first instance.
