FUEL REBATE EXTENDED TO GALWAY TRANSPORT

The extension of a fuel rebate to include passenger transport operators will be a vital support to those operating in Galway.

That’s according to Minister of State and Galway East TD Ciaran Cannon who says the move will allow the sector to retain and create jobs.

It’s being introduced as part of the new Finance Bill and is similar to the rebate already in place for the road haulage industry.
