Front men can give Killererin a critical edge

IT’S a final teeming with North Galway rivalry and tradition but when Killererin and Milltown shape up to each other next Sunday at Pearse Stadium (3.15), times past will count for little in what promises to be a highly competitive county decider.

This televised (TG4) senior showdown probably won’t compete with last Sunday’s hurling decider in terms of crowd pulling power, but what can be said with some certainty is that this final will be an awful lot closer — Killererin and Milltown do nothing else but tight games.
