FRESH SETBACK TO LOADING OF ARAN FERRY BOATS

There’s been a new setback to the loading of a second ferry onto a cargo ship at Galway docks.

Crewmen are encountering fresh problems in the operation to hoist the 76 tonne ‘Clann Eagle 1’ ferry on board the Danish registered ‘Thor Gitta’.

It’s the latest in a three week saga to get the ships off to their new owner in Mauritius.
