FRESH CRISIS FOR INIS MEAIN AS RUBBISH REMAINS UNCOLLECTED

While water was restored to Inis Meain last week, Islanders are now facing a fresh crisis as refuse has not been collected for two weeks.

Meanwhile, a deal to restore flights to the island of Inis Meáin could be secured this week.

The Department of community, rural and Gaeltacht affairs is holding talks with a "mainland based company" over the financial package on offer.
