Frank and Sean celebrate Irish Tenors at Town Hall Theatre

Sean Costello and Frank Naughton will celebrate The Great Irish Tenors on Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30 at 8pm in Galway City’s Town Hall Theatre.

They are promising a “wonderful evening of craic agus ceol”, which will include some of Ireland’s great anthems.

Both men are delighted to be back on the road now that Covid restrictions have been lifted.

Even when they couldn’t tour physically, they continued to entertain, and Frank presented two Driveway Concerts for St Patrick’s Day in 2020 and 2021, which have amassed thousands of views on Facebook.  But nothing compares to the thrill of a live theatre concert, he says

“I just can’t wait. Sean and I have missed this type of performance so much.” And he’s hopeful that audiences will feel the same. “Please God people will have the confidence to join us at the end of April.”

Sean echoes those feelings.

“I’ve missed it so much,” he says. “It’ll be wonderful to sing these brilliant songs again with our live musicians. Frank and I have been working together for so long now, there’s that great synergy between us that only comes over time. Of course we love having the craic also but they’re going to be great concerts”.

The pair are billing the concert as “the perfect Mother’s Day gift”. Tickets are €25 and available at www.tht.ie or on 091 569777.
