FOURTH MAN RELEASED FOLLOWING ALLEGED TUAM HIJACK

Gardai have released a fourth man who was taken in for questioning over an alleged car hijacking and assault near Tuam on Monday night.

Three of the men arrested over the incident were released last evening and a fourth man was detained for questioning.

He’s since been released and files are now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions for all four men, according to Gardai.
