Galway Bay Fm news – A former Mayor of Co Galway, and current Fine Gael member of the county council, has lobbied Taoiseach Enda Kenny on behalf of Garth Brook’s fans in Galway who are fearful that all the singer’s five concerts in Croke Park might not go ahead.
Cllr Tom McHugh lobbied his party leader, Taoiseach Enda Kenny on this matter early today and he hopes some resolution can be found regarding allowing all the concerts to go ahead.
He says that it is vital all five shows go ahead for the good of the economy of the country, for our image abroad as well as to ensure that all who have bought tickets, many from Galway, get to enjoy the concerts in Croke Park.
