Forensic examination of skull found at Tully pier

A forensic examinination is to be carried out on a human skull found at Tully Pier in Connemara yesterday afternoon.
Gardai were alerted by a member of the public who saw the human skull and it was taken to the mortuary at UHG.
A Garda spokesperson has told Galway Bay Fm that it is an adult human skull and a full forensic examination will be carried out on it in the coming days.
