FORENSIC EXAMINATION OF MENLOUGH CRASH SCENE

A technical examination is to get underway around now [8am] following a crash in Menlough in East Galway last evening, in which a woman was killed.

The 38 year old was killed in the single vehicle crash which took place in the Colemanstown area at around 4.30pm.

A team of forensic collision investigators is now carrying out an examination of the area.

The Cloonkeenkerrill Road is closed and diversions are in place.
