Foil, Arms & Hog – The Interview for Comedy Carnival
We asked Foil Arms and Hog to interview themselves before their gig at the Comedy Carnival. Here are the results.
Who do you love?
Our Mammies… and Natalie Portman.
What do you love?
When you think there is no hot water for a shower… and then there is. Heaven.
What do you need?
A financial backer, a new shower head and constant attention.
Your favourite comedian… and why?
The Marx Brothers, completely hilarious and totally mental. Three hugely different comedic styles working brilliantly together
Your worst gig experience ever?
A charity gig we did in Black Hall Place. 250 people out of the minds with drink, totally unaware we were there doing a show. We walked off half way through our set. I don’t think anyone noticed. It was like doing a gig on the Bodkin Roundabout at rush hour.
Who would play you in a film about your life?
Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Peter Crouch.
Your greatest fear?
People figuring out that I looked at all their photos on Facebook.
What is your motto?
Funny first, think later.
Write your life story in 10 words.
Born, bullied, got funny, bullied less, shaved head, started bullying.
What issue do you feel most strongly about?
Bicycle theft. If I’m cycling a bike I obviously don’t have much money. Leave me alone.
Where do you think we go when we die?
Down the road, around the corner, past Land of Leather and it’s your second turn on the right.
What is your most treasured possession?
Hog’s red 30 inch plastic “thinking sword”.
What would your desert island disc be?
“Now That’s What I Call Music – the Complete collection”
