FLOODING RELIEF WORKS TO GO AHEAD IN HEADFORD

Work to alleviate flooding in Headford is set to go ahead.

East Galway Fianna Fáil Deputy, Noel Treacy has confirmed the Office of Public Works has agreed to proceed with the project, provided an ecological report, commissioned by them is positive.

Deputy Treacy welcomed the progress and hopes the work in the Ballycolgan area can commence later this year.
