FLOOD RELIEF FOR ORANMORE LOOKS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Three Oranmore flood relief projects are likely to be successful in their applications for funding according to Galway Senator Fidelma Healy-Eames.

She says funding applications for flood relief for Moneymore East, Frenchfort and Derrydonnell are "more than hopeful" according to her contact in the Office of Public Works.

Agreement is needed from Galway County Council and the OPW has already requested this.
