FIVE GALWAY NAMES ON LATEST TAX DEFAULTERS LIST

Five Galway names are on the latest tax defaulters list.

They’ve made settlements totalling almost four hundred thousand euro with the Revenue commissioners.

They relate to agreements reached with the Revenue between the 1st of April and the 30th of June this year.

Topping the Galway list is farmer John Morris of Abbeyland Great, Eyrecourt, Ballinasloe.

John Morris made a settlement of just over 168 thousand euro for underdeclaration of Income Tax, a single premium insurance products case and a bogus non-resident account case.

The second highest Galway tax settlement was made by B&B/Restaurateur Kevin Feeney of Auburn Lodge, 180 Upper Salthill.

Kevin Feeney made a settlement of just over 73 thousand euro for underdeclaration of Income Tax and VAT and a revenue audit case.
