Galway motorists will get the chance to test drive one of the first electric cars on the market in the city tomorrow.

The company behind the REVAi electric three door hatchback was so impressed with the findings of their online poll on the environment they decided to bring their prototype to Galway.

Galway people emerged as the most environmentally conscious in Ireland.

Greenaer is offering local motorists the chance to test drive their electric car at the Meyrick Hotel on Eyre Square from 10 am.

The REVAi can help commuters save over six times their regular driving costs and is designed for low speed, congested urban areas.
