FIREFIGHTERS BRING CITY CENTRE BLAZE UNDER CONTROL

Galway Fire Brigage has brought a fire in the city centre under control.

Four units of Galway Fire Brigade and units from Athenry and Gort were called to the scene of the blaze at a seafood restaurant on Eglington Street shortly before 11 o’clock.

Eglington street was closed to traffic for a short time.
