Fine Gael to choose Tuam electoral candidates tonight
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Fine Gael will choose its candidates to context the local election for the Tuam area tonight.
Four candidates are hoping to get on the party ticket at a selection convention at the Ard Rí Hotel in Tuam at 8p.m.
They are sitting Councillors, Tom McHugh from Tuam and Peter Roche from Abbeyknockmoy, Tuam Town Councillor Larry Bane and Peter Keaveney from Glenamaddy.
Sitting Councillor Tiernan Walsh from Glenamaddy has announced his retirement and will not be seeking re-election to the County Council.
