FINE GAEL LEADER LASHES ENVIRONMENT MINISTER OVER GALWAY WATER CRISIS

The Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny is lashing John Gormley for not visiting Galway city during the escalating water crisis.

Deputy Kenny held a meeting with city hall officials this afternoon to get fully briefed on how they’re handling the lead contamination of several old city housing areas.

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny also met with residents of Bohermore and Shantalla this afternoon.

He’s in Galway to express solidarity with the people of the city who are now facing the latest water contamination crisis.
