FINE GAEL LEADER CLAIMS HSE NOT HIRING NUIG SPEECH THERAPISTS

Children waiting for speech and language therapy in Galway are missing out on vital services due to the HSE’s recruitment ban.

That’s according to Fine Gael Leader, Enda Kenny, who says many graduates of NUIGalway’s speech and language therapy course are not being given any jobs by the HSE.

This is despite growing waiting lists.

According to today’s Irish Independent, Enda Kenny says that in the case of children waiting for such services, early intervention is essential.
