Fine Gael chooses 3 Tuam area electoral candidates

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Fine Gael has selected three candidates to context the next local election for the Tuam area.

They are sitting Councillors, Tom McHugh from Tuam and Peter Roche from Abbeyknockmoy and agricultural contractor, Peter Keaveney from Glenamaddy.

Sitting Councillor Tiernan Walsh from Glenamaddy announced his retirement and will not be seeking re-election to the County Council.

The candidates were selected at a convention at the Ard Rí Hotel in Tuam last night.
